The craftsman, Orlando Zorzenon from Strassoldo, fixes the solar instrument on the rough surface of an ancient, fourteenth century grindstone from Tininin Mill in Aiello, now owned by the De Giusti family. 

Orlando Zorzenon is a very active collaborator in the Navarca Cultural Club as regards sundials; he has already built a number of sundials in Aiello. In particular, those that ought to be mentioned are the “Ancient Hours Hemispheric Sundial” and the “Double Wired sundial”, both placed in the Sundials Courtyard of the Museum of the Rural Civilization.
