There are very few solar quadrants realised with iron rods, as their setting up requires an appropriate support, in order to fix the iron to the background surface. In our case, iron and bricks, two ancient materials still in use in architecture, go perfectly well together, and valorise the shadow of the gnomon in its marking the passing of the time.
